The real 35mm film leaks light when it shouldn't: a sprocket gap left open, an exposed end of the roll, a darkroom door cracked a second too early. This set of light leak overlays comes from that experience: 22 frames scanned from burnt 35mm stock , with an orange-and-red wash, dust speckles, scratch streaks, and the half-printed edge markings that ride along the film border.
The burns run from soft warm glows to hard red bleeds, with a few light-trail squiggles where the film advanced past an open shutter. They sit nicely over portraits, album art, posters, lookbooks, music covers, and editorial spreads — and hold up just as well as standalone warm-toned backgrounds. Set the blend mode to Screen to drop the black, leaving only the leak — or stack two files for a heavier burn.
