Latrodectus Hasselti is an experimental display typeface designed by Paloma Plana in 2020. It’s strong in character, interesting to use, and sharply expressive. Powerful in its singularity and resolutely unconventional, it is defined by a 10° slant and strong contrasts between thick and thin strokes. The typeface currently includes 365 glyphs: the Latin alphabet, diacritics, 64 ligatures, punctuation marks, numbers and a few hidden surprises. It is intended to be perceived as thin, depending on how it is used.
